About the artist
Mikuláš Galanda (1895-1938) was a Slovak painter and graphic artist who made significant contributions to the development of modern art in Slovakia. Galanda's artistic style evolved throughout his career. In his early works, he was influenced by the Art Nouveau movement, characterized by decorative elements and stylized forms.
