Frame Quality

We believe that a frame can make or break a piece of artwork, so we take great care in handcrafting each one of our frames. Our workshop partner in Manila is responsible for the handcrafted finishing of each frame in our unique collection. We use only the finest quality materials and pay close attention to detail in order to provide our customers with the highest quality frames.

Handcrafted – Our frames are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans who glue, fill, sand, and wax each one by hand. Each print is professionally framed to the highest standards, complete with taped backs, brass hanging hardware, and wool bumpers.

Solid Wood – Our frames are made from solid wood, ensuring they meet the highest standards for sustainability. The wood we use is harvested from responsibly managed forests that are environmentally conscious and economically viable.

Hand Painted – Our unique collection of hand-painted frames is carefully color-matched to complement each piece of art. Each frame is given three coats of paint, sanded between each layer, and finished with wax to achieve a luxurious finish.

No Glaze Protective Coating – For some pieces of art, a frame without glazing appears more authentic to the original. To protect the surface of the print, we apply a water-based UV protection varnish before framing. This low-sheen finish eliminates reflections, allowing the artwork to be viewed clearly from all angles, and can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth.
